| Yup - a couple of things to note... * Hotlinking to this page will bounce you to Liteon on purpose >-D * Be careful - sometimes the mailer will get pointed at your trash/bulk/spam mail box!

| GUI... I think it "would be a wise decision to" 'release' V.4 GUI. BTW, page 230 @ this forum is interesting... http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=9&t=3591 |

| At least 100,000 times from what I can recall. Every time you burn a disc the EEPROM is modified. So this means the EEPROM chip has to be able to written over many times before it fails. I foresee no problems overwriting many times.

| SO 401 to 411??? So does the Zebra v4 work for a 401 as the thread subject implies? In the Zebra .nfo it only talks about getting a 411 to 811... How does it differ for a 401? Send me a msg if you got any info, and don't want to post it public because of any forum rules. Thanks... |

| it will work on a 401 perpectly when a 401 is modded to a 411 the only think in the eeprom that is changed is the name string off the drive. The Zebra v4 mod therefore will work without n e problem on the 401. Just read the nfo included very carefully and make sure to make several backup of your current eeprom and firmware!!!!!!!!!!

| The link works just fine. But if you are having trouble acessing the download site by; "The page cannot be displayed". Here is the solution for those of you with the same problem i.e. if you are connecting to the internet from a home lan (AND not from your workplace network). Open Control Panel Internet Options (or, in IE, pull down menu Tools and select Internet Options...). Click on the tab Connections. Click on button LAN Settings. UNcheck Automatically detect settings. UNcheck Use automatic configuration script. Check Use a proxy server. Fill in the Address and Port (usually 8080) information. => (Get the Address/Port from your ISP). Click OK. Click OK to exit LAN settings. Click OK to apply the changes and exit Internet Options. |

| drivespeed Just download the patch its docs tell all, but you only patch the origninal eeprom in your case the 401s eeprom backup you did. then patch that to V4, there is no need to start at 411s. |
