OT/ why do you keep posting the same over and over again? the burns will not become any better the more you burn.

the 760a created a new entry in the AS database.so from disc 4 it should stay more or less the same.so i posted the first 5 discs

AS creates a strategy once, and thats all. It is not like Solidburn where multiple discs are used to optimize a strategy. From the first disc on, where a strat has been created, your burns will NOT improve in any major way. So posting 4-5 burns, all the same stuff, will only show very similar results due to a slight per-disc variation.

so posting disc after disc of the same stuff is useless.

It entirely depends on the settings. Your statement is only true in ON-Mode, where an already existing strategy will be used, but no new one will ever be created.

In AUTO-Mode AS will check *every* time if the firmware-strategy or an already existing AS strategy is suitable and *create* a new one if it thinks they aren't.

In ON(Forced) a new strategy will be created *every* time, regardless if the old one fits or not.

This makes coparisons between burns a bit complicated, since they may be based on differend (AS)-strategies. That's why i include BETA/Jitter scans in my tests. To some extent it let's you peek at the writing strategy that was applied.

And A Different Batch Of MCC004. (The 2Gig PIE Spikes Are On This Batch As Well)

An interesting phenomenon but I think it's no problem, since there is no correspondence in the PIF scan. Try creating a new AS strategy for this batch of media by using the "ON (Forced)" setting.

Also, perhaps you could do a Beta/Jitter scan of the above burn?

The Burn Looks A Lot Different Than The Previous Ones Before.

This Burn I Went Back To My Very First Batch Of MCC004.

And Burnt At 12x

(The Plextor Does The PIE Spikes At The Same Place Where The Drive Reports A Jump & Fall In Jitter)

Now I Know Why HWP Requested A Jitter Scan
