Info on Plextor PXW2410TA - Club CDFreaks

Hi,

Can't seem to find any info on this burner except in japanese which is not my native language.
Does anyone have a suggestion.

What is the biggest difference between Liteon (32123S) and Plextor (PXW2410TA) burners except price. Any suggestion which one I should buy.

well the plextor can copy cactus data sheild protected audio cds
and the liteon can copy the new safedisk version 2.51xxxx

Hi all,

Can't the Plextor2410A copy SD2.5 xx with the newbetablocker? Also, where can I find info regarding the Plextor2410A making successful copies of Cactus Data Shield? Also, are you referring to the new CDS 200?

i copied a cactus data shield 200 protected cd with the plextor2410a , no problem , i used clone cd ( of course ) and enabled the settings : read subchannel data from data tracks and subchannel data from audio tracks ,

I've seen various results. Check out the CloneCD forum for more info on this (there have been a lot of post on this new SD2 version)...

The Plextor Can copy Safedisk 2.51 , and copy it perfect However
your 24x plex must be on Firmware 1.0 , and for the unlucky like
me the new plex's will not allow the firmware to be downgraded
and as if you couldnt guess plextor have removed firmware 1.0 from their sites ....... so heres to hoping that sum 1 can crack the firmware downgrade problem , or that plex release a new firmware to re-enable the drive to copy safedisk2.51 and other such protections..... and for info my plex is on firmware 1.3

and my m8's is on 1.0 and i cant backup safedisk2.51 and he can wivout any problems ... Bummer
