| I/O error on CDs Plextor 708A / Firmware v1.12 / Region 2 I just bought Half Life 2 from the Philliphines. It appears to be a geniune copy with CD-Key etc. In My Computer it doesn't list the CD title and when you click on the drive nothing appears to be on it. I used the command prompt and it said the action couldn't be performed because of an I/O error. It has also happens with an audio CD a while ago, i got that from Japan, appeared to be nothing on that either. Any ideas? |

| Re: I/O error on CDs usually some type of copy protection or crappy mfr standards. Try http://www.halflife2.net/forums/show...45#post1003545 Works for 712, may work for the 708. |
