Well, the tray usually won't open unless I press the button 4-5 times! ( I had an A-Open which had the same problem with the stock firmware, and even after I upgraded it )
It won't read some CDs and DVDs which are recognized normally in my NEC DVD-RW, and even in the Plextor itself, before the firmware upgrade.
I should mention that the PX-130A was the best DVD-ROM I ever saw... it was flawless. Such a shame
Now... what do you think ?
Yep what a shame. Sorry to hear that.

Browse the LG service sites, your best chance.

There is no firmware update available for the GSA-H54N and GSA-H54L drives. The drive can be crossflashed to the GSA-H55 firmware, which voids your warranty.

Re: Useful firmware links, a must read for everybody.

Can not access codeguys site.

4 days now

cannot find any link to flasher apart from codeguys either.

clearly i have a connection problem - but limited to codeguys site only?

note previous similar problem a few weeks back was met with scorn by senior forum members, but having used codeguys site a few years back find this issue of beeing apparently refused access/ timed out very frustrating since should be a simple 5 minute job, not an impossible struggle.

your full attention is requested seniors. please assist

why impossible to connect? using ie7 no phishing, no pop up blocking. even tried taking down firewall. Nothing gets me close to any rpc.org link and have tried dozens.

cheers,

vstupid to give up......
