Toshiba TS-L632D Firmware Problem - Club CDFreaks

Hi
I have Toshiba Satellite A200 14D laptop with TS-L632D DVDRW. I had a problem with win drivers (that's what I think). My device were stopped to read any CD or DVD media... After driver reinstallation it start working. After few days same thing happened again and I have decided to upgrade firmware. I have installed SC04 firmware and my DVD has died

. I can not even open the door. I think that original firmware was TO01. Now it says BOOT instead of SC04 (?!?). Can enyone help me with this??? Where I can find firmware for this device (new or the old one).

Wrong firmware!

You need to find a flasher which can crossflash your drive back.

can you tell me which firmware is right for my device and/or where and how can I find flasher for it? I'm not so experienced in flashing devices?

Some TOxx firmware is right.

I don't know if this exists somewhere else than on drives.

Is it possible that there is no TOxx firmware on Internet???

Can someone who have same laptop do a backup of firmware and send it to me?

I searched a lot fot the TOxx firmwares but, at this time I was unable to find them. If anyone can HELP us let us know. Thanks

Dell uses these 8x drives in there lappys also, I checked my XPS and my firmware is DE04 for the Tsscorp DVD+RW TS-L632D. The firmware can be found on Dell's site however if it will help your L632D i have'nt a clue because i used the internal drive maybe 3x. I´ve uploaded TO04 to my site.
You can download it at Toshiba, Samsung and TSST Firmware RPC1 Regionfree and original
