| Re: OptoRite DD0203 ripping at 2X, speed hack firmware anyone? I don't think that the drive has an intentional speed limit. Perhaps the problem is caused by something other than the drive itself.

| Re: OptoRite DD0203 ripping at 2X, speed hack firmware anyone? Update. I changed the IDE cable and made sure UDMA stuff was set and it now rips at a max of 3.7X. It will not go over that. I keep hearing of people getting up to 12X on single layer discs and 8X on dual layer. I wish I knew how they were getting that. |
