Firmware Discuss, [NEEDED] QSI Sbw 242 UX11 or newer firmware at International Chat: Hardware related forum; I have some problems for my QSI Sbw 242 cd/dvd combo drive and I hope that newer firmware can solve it. Currently, I have firmware with UX08 version. So if anyone have a firmware newer than I am, can you please make a copy, zipped it and send it

[NEEDED] QSI Sbw 242 UX11 or newer firmware

I have some problems for my QSI Sbw 242 cd/dvd combo drive and I hope that newer firmware can solve it. Currently, I have firmware with UX08 version. So if anyone have a firmware newer than I am, can you please make a copy, zipped it and send it to me?

This could be problematic.

Firmwares for theses drives are all drive specific - so backing up one from another drive and flashing to your could easily destroy it.

Isn't that same model will be able to use all the firmware for that model whether it is from dell or sony or other company?
