hi,
Just wondering how i can find out which firmware is in my lite-on 32123s cdr drive and my dvd-rom? My os is Xp is that helps. Thanks alot for any replies.

Another way : Nero-Burning Rom -> Recorder -> Choose Recorder

You can also check the firmware using device manager in windows system properties. Click on the cdrom item to display roms (which will include your writer), select your writer and click on properties, then go to the settings page on which the firmware used by your writer will be displayed.
