| Windows XP Media Center question about DVD in Media Center mode I'm getting to know my new Sony Vaio and I have a question about the Windows XP Media Center. When you select "Play DVD" through the Media Center interface, what DVD player is doing the playing? I have a few software DVD players on my system (WinDVD came with it, and I added a Nero player and a Sonic Cinemaster player)... But none of those look like the interface that appears when one plays a DVD while one is in "Media Center" mode. The Media Center one has a panel in the lower left corner, whereas all those DVD players have a floating panel that usually appears in the middle (and look nothing like that one). It also looks nothing like Window's Media Player, however perhaps it is using the guts of Windows Media Player without the usual skin? |
