| Re: Whats different between 352 x 240 (1/4 D1) -- 4:3 and.... The lower resolution will look better at any given bitrate. Because of this you can encode lower res stuff at lower bitrates and save file size. So if the resolution isn't there to begin with (VHS tapes from a camcorder as an example) you might as well use the lower res. |
