| Re: What is a good mp3 converter to use (disc to mp3) preferably a free one? For the sake of having one more choice.... http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ It used to be a pay program, now it's free. It does certain things I like and includes Fraunhofer Codec and can utilize Lame as well. |

| Re: What is a good mp3 converter to use (disc to mp3) preferably a free one? Audiograbber is cute and fast, but the quality it provides is nowhere near that offered by EAC. Some people swear by CDEX, I've not tried it personally as EAC provides perfect backups and I've never seen a need to change. |

HI, I need some advice on burning mp3's. I want to be able to burn a cd with numerous songs on it. I knew of a guy once who burned almost a hundred songs on one. I tried burning as a data disc to get more and using mp3 but would not read in my CDR/RW compatible car stereo. | |

| Re: What is a good mp3 converter to use (disc to mp3) preferably a free one? It won't. If you burn Mp3s to a CD it will only play on an Mp3 compatible CD player. Your stereo will read audio (ie copied or compilation cds in normal format) CDR/RW, but Mp3 is a different thing and is obviously not supported. To get it to play, buy a new stereo, or burn normal audio CDs. |
