| Re: Help Needed DAO - Disc-at-Once - Burns the data in one, so the whole CD is written to without turing the laser off. TAO - Track-at-once - Burns the data in Segments (Laser on Laser off) leaving small gaps between Tracks. SAO - Session-At-Once - Multisession discs are not finalised or closed, also Relates to Packet Writing on Rewritable and DVD-RAM discs. RAW - Data written exactly that way...RAW, there's no formatting its just data that's passed along to an I/O device (CD/DVD Writer) without being interpreted. SUB - Subchannel Data - Subchannels are coded in to this stream of data. These subchannels contains a position reference. This subchannel normally controls the time display of a CD player, or is used for various forms of copy protection. |
