What is a CUE?

Actually, what I would like to know is how can I make seamless, gapless Audio CD's. I've heard this "cue" thing that you're supposed to create wherein you put the mp3's (or wav's) and use CDRWIN for burning. Is it really effective? If yes, can you post a step-by-step guide?

I use LAME 3.91 (--alt-preset extreme) with EAC 0.9b3 then burn the .wav files with Nero 5.5.5.6 (i know, i know -update!) but unfortunately I made the mistake of using those ID3 tags which I also heard will make gapless play impossible. Any truths about that?

Whew, that was long....

You can use notepad to edit cue sheets...should have been in one of the threads you found by using the search.

Otherwise I don't really understand your question....

If you use NERO and then edit the properties you can make the gap between songs 0 seconds, ie NO gap, just burn the disc at one (rather than track at once to keep the laser on) and away you go
