Newbie Forum Discuss, VirtualDub help please! at International Chat: General Topics forum; how come when i use filters to reduce quality the file i save is double the size and half the quality? example a 1.5 gb file is reduced to 5.5gb????? why is this? thnx in advance for any help.

what compression setting you using ?? under video -> compression
