| vCD Screen Size on TV Ok--I'm a newbie to video burning. I have an AVI file that plays in WinAmp or WMP in a "wide screen" view just like in a movie theater. However, when I burn it to vCD using Nero 5.5.10.35 and then play it through my DVD player on TV, it is in "full screen" resolution. How can I burn this to a CD and retain the "wide screen" look on the TV? |

| I suggest you go & check out this site... Here Go down to Tools,& look for a program called Tmpgenc,it's a freeware mpeg1 (VCD),encoder but the mpeg 2 is trial only. It's much better than Nero's built-in encoder. Better than that amongst your encoding options are 4:3 (what you're getting now), & 16:9 ratio (widescreen, what you're trying to retain). Also check the video forum here, although that other link I showed gives you some great info too. Hope it helps. |
