Need some help.
I had been running a burner (NEC 2500a) for the past month or so with no problems on a Dell Inspiron 2650 (laptop). I have it in a USB 2.0 external encasing connected to a usb 1.1 port. It was working fine.
I purchased a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card and installed it. It was still running as 1.1, so I followed their instructions and downloaded the new microsoft driver for the card. after installing the card using the file (had to download from e-machines) it all seemed to be working well. I attempted to backup a ps2 game, yet with the burner plugged into the new card (usb 2.0) dvd decrypter stalled at the lead-in and the burner did nothing. After a few tries, i switched back to my built in ports, and now these are having problems. As i was attempting to burn the dvd, the drive began flashing a orange then green pattern. Then the burn failed. Is there any way i can revert to my old driver and just use it to burn. Even if usb 1.1 makes me burn at .6x

Its better than nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
