| System shutdown during avi to dvd conversion Hi there, When i start the conversion of avi files with ConvertXtoDVD, or any other avi to dvd conversion tool, the system automatically shuts down after a few minutes. I tried different avi files, same result. Until now, I've always been able to carry out successfully this task... What could cause XP to completely shut down ??? Thanks for the help. Geoff |

| Re: System shutdown during avi to dvd conversion Welcome to the forum  One reason is that your computer is overheating and for safety's sake it is deliberately shutting down. Could you please list your system specifications, including what CPU cooling is fitted (fan etc..)?
