| Sound Quality changes Hello, I have a video file that sounds great on my PC, but when I convert it using Divxtodvd and then burn it with CloneDVD, I have to turn up the volume on my television 3/4 of the way to hear it somewhat loud. Ofcourse I dont have the best hearing in the world and have considered that my PC speakers are just that much better than the older TV we use to view DVD's. I just think that there is a discrepancy from the nice surround (am i correct to call it AC5?) to dampened sound. Thanks

| Re: Sound Quality changes Most Likely it is the speekers in your tv. My speekers sound fine. If! As aprilmay claims not all of her (your a she right?) movies do this. It could be the quilty of your movie file. The best way to up that quilty is to use Dr.Divx (mostly it ups the video quilty it helps the sound a little bit). You could also sperate the movie and audio then use a program to re-encode the audio file to where it sounds better. Then you just use some video editor to put the audio and movie back together.

| Re: Sound Quality changes It's surely AC3 (DD) or DTS, and it is normal for anything beside mono, stereo or PCM.
