Sims won`t install any more !! - Club CDFreaks

Friday i installed several Sims games from backup disks .
Today the game stopped and i cannot install any Sims game anymore , what Friday went without problems .
What could have happend today ?
A Windows up date ?
An attack from the Sims homepage ?
A serial blacklist ?
Any one have the same problem ?
It is very strange !!!!
Alcohol 120% emelation does not work !

well , did you install any applications after you installed Nero? try using Registry Cleaner to clean out the registry entries. but i am not that clear about ur problem . wait for other users to post their answers.

my computers not on the internet will work with back up disc my one on the internet wont are u on xp i think it is the up dates stoping it

So i understand , that your computer connected to the internet also does not install from backup disks ?
When yes then are my fears correct !
And is there something comming from the internet that is blocking the game and recognises back up discks !!
I have been bussy putting disk images back to try to put it right , that is why it took so long to reply .
But it still does not work , and worse all my computers in my network refuse to install The Sims to !.
If i am correct then this "thing " wil prevent the use of of backup disk for copy protected games .
Are there more people with the same problem , also with other games with the same protection as The Sims ?????
Please report !!!!!
I hate it if someone messes with my computer !!!

Ps. I AM NOT A NEWBIE
And i think this possibly a big thing , Concerning many people and not a personel problem that i can't install .
I want to what is happening !!
But I could be wrong of corse

What actually happens when you try to install the games? Any error messages?
