Newbie Forum Discuss, Ripping Ong-Bak at International Chat: General Topics forum; Hi everyone, heres the situration. I bought the Official DVD from Thailand. but I cannot play it to my dvd player because of the regions. So I'm trying to backup the DVD into a pal region with DVD Shrink and DVD decryptor. But I keep getting errors. has any1

Ripping Ong-Bak

Hi everyone, heres the situration. I bought the Official DVD from Thailand. but I cannot play it to my dvd player because of the regions. So I'm trying to backup the DVD into a pal region with DVD Shrink and DVD decryptor. But I keep getting errors. has any1 ever backup a international dvd? Is it possible. Please help. I want to watch it on my Big screen tv.

if your drive is not an RPC1 drive then it will not rip it!!!

What for a drive you've?
You have rpc1 firmwares and to make the dvd region free, you can use anydvd or
dvdregionfree!

So All I need is the anydvd program to rip the movie? Then I would still use dvddecryter?
