record from the sky plus planner I end up with "x" amount of empty space on the DVD

HI,

Name is Lee.
Live in Staffordshire.
age 34.
Not PC literate....This is the first time on a forum,,,,virgin, me!!!!
My missus has taken the pee as she is a bit of a wizz.

Not sure how the eticate works but, I have a problem with my Liteon DVD recorder.

When I try to record from the sky plus planner I end up with "x" amount of empty space on the DVD. I know I am doing things correctly, as it has worked in the passed.

If I record one chapter ( only seconds long ) it won't work, but a second chapter sometimes works fine. I am using DVD+RW. Formatting only works on occasions and new disks seems to make no change.

Please could someone assist and tell me what I am doing wrong before I launch the it out of the nearest window.

Cheers,

Lee.
