Newbie Forum Discuss, PS2 EA Sports backups at International Chat: General Topics forum; I have two questions, I performed a search but didn't find anything really relevant. I attempted to backup NCAA March Madness 2002 and I'm guessing it is protected to prevent copying. The game is CD based and I'm looking for info on how to either get around

PS2 EA Sports backups

I have two questions, I performed a search but didn't find anything really relevant.
I attempted to backup NCAA March Madness 2002 and I'm guessing it is protected to prevent copying. The game is CD based and I'm looking for info on how to either get around the protection and/or rip the game and just burn it out right.

Secondly, I have a no-solder mod and just found out that playing games larger than the boot disc was impossible. So my question is, when performing DVD Rips to make the image a 700mb iso I'm looking to cut it to roughly 640mb. Which movies are the best to cut out in order to do this? Or does it differ from game to game? Basically, I just don't want to cut out the wrong movie and make the game unplayable. And the tutorials I've found are all for making the image 700mb.

Thanks in advance

firstly for EA backups you need to patch the game to get it to work with the mod you have

check out www.ps2ownz.com for more info, they also have great forums forum dvd ripping too.

also try www.help-forums.com for dvd ripping and general mod chip info

cdfreaks tend to be more for pc games copying.

If this is not an update patch released by EA, it is illegal and thus not allowed on this forum (want this forum to stay online a while longer)
