Problem reading DVD-R burned at limit speed

Hello, I have a DVD-RW Sony DW-Q28A, with reading problems with some DVD-R burned at its limit burning speed (16x), windows says it's a blank CD after burning, although Nero verify after burning is OK.
They are common Data DVD with some videos and pictures.
The Roxio's disc and device utility (version 8), shows that there is a DVD, with the correct size, all the info, and only a special data:
Track status: incomplete.
With this utility I can read the track with some errors at the track's end, and save it into an ISO file. This ISO file let me read OK all the files.

I tried the disks in another DVD-RW (Pionner in an Acer laptop) and they are well detected, and read OK. A Home DVD Player read them OK, too.

My question is: is there some utility or fix that let me read the disk's content in my case? I don't know what mode is used by Roxio's utility to read the disk, but in that mode the disk is accessible.

Note: My DVD-RW device is updated with the last firmware.
I can read OK the DVDs burned at 8x.

Thanks.

Burn it again at a slower speed.

I agree. If you can get the data off the discs, and onto your hard drive, try reburning them at 8x. And be sure to use good media.

FWIW, I very rarely burn at the full 16x or higher on any of my drives. Even with good discs like Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden I tend to drop the burn speed.
