Problem with DVD Fab HD Decrypter...

Newbie with limited computer skills here(and I know I'm not the first).

I was using DVD Fab HD Encrypter to make copies of some DVDs that I want to store on my harddrive, but I'm having a little trouble.

In the "target" box it will only let me send the files to "My Documents" and I want to have this stuff go directly to my harddrive. For some reason it won't let me. How can I change this?

Also, the DVD copied as separate VTS.VOB files. As this is a concert video, it cuts some songs in half before I have to go and click on the next file.

Obviously this is not how I wanted it to come out. I need it to run continously as on the DVD.

Is there any way I can make the copy as it plays? Please help!!!

Re: Problem with DVD Fab HD Decrypter...

Get a hold of DVD Shrink it is free as well and reprocess those VIDEO_TS Folders into and ISO then google virtual clone drive (by slysoft) and mount those ISO's to a virtual drive to play. The ISO will be the whole DVD.

Did you change target to hdd in common settings?
rip with DVDFab HD >full movie to hdd>use shrink if need DVD-5 >IMGBurn build mode.....

Re: Problem with DVD Fab HD Decrypter...

As far as a target for the decrypted dvd, click on the folder icon next to the target line. This will allow you to browse to any spot on the hard drive or even make a new folder to put the video in. If you go over to the last icon on that line, it will let you save as an ISO if you prefer.

What are you using to play the vob files? If you click on each one individually, then yes, you get the results you describe. But if you use a dvd player like PowerDVD or VLC, you target the DVD Video folder that is produced by DVDFab HD Decrypter. It contains the Video_TS folder and Audo_TS folder. It should play seamlessly.

Re: Problem with DVD Fab HD Decrypter...

Kerry56-I use VLC media player. When I try to open the folder, the icon does not appear that says "open with..." It will go directly into the file.

I tried the using Virtual Clone and the same thing happens-

I use the "open with..." or "send to..." icons and the Virtual clone does not appear. So I don't even know how to get to it to use it.

Re: Problem with DVD Fab HD Decrypter...

In VLC, click on File, then Open Directory, then point it to the DVD Video folder, or the Video_TS folder either one. It has been a while since I've used VLC, so I downloaded it and went through these steps to make sure. It works for me.
