Welcome to the forum...

Please tell us what make and model your DVD drive is, and especially what brand of blanks you are using. If you could download CD-DVD Speed and find the manufacturer ID (MID) of the discs, that would be even better.

Just by any chance, when you are uninstalling nero, are you doing a complete uninstall? Deleting every trace of it from your computer, ie registry, program files, etc? (In case there may be some coruupted file?) Rebooting and then doing a fresh install?

Are you making a lot of copies back to back? If so maybe the drive is overheating. Also how are you making your copies. Are you copying to the hard drive first or are you copying from one drive to another? It's always best to copy to the HD then burn. Are you backing up movies? If they're newer movies it could be a newer copy protection kicking in.

Did the troubles start as soon as you switched from Philips to Sony?

Re: Problem Burning Dvd Copies. Help!!

i click on control panel then add or remove program then click to remove the nero suite. it doesn't delete everything so i deleted what my computer would let me delete.
it would not let me remove everything that was leftover.

Or try changing your media. Can't hurt.
