Newbie Here- Help With Choppy Audio After Burning DVD Please!

Hey Guys, Nice forum here by the way...Well Ill get straight to the problem. I've just purchased a Dell E1705, and with it upgraded my burner to a Sony DVD+-RW DW-Q58A. I am trying to burn DVDs straight from another DVD. I am using Sonic DigitalMedia LE v7, the stock program that came with the computer. What I am simply doing is using the MAKE EXACT DUPLICATE of CD. The very FIRST DVD I burned worked superbly NO problems. However the second and third, I encountered problems. Not with the burning itself but the finished product. The video is fine, it is the audio portion that is VERY choppy. It stutters non-stop. The DVD I am burning it onto are TDK 8X DVD+R Single Sided 4.7gb disks. I have tried the finished products on my friends DVD player and also his Dell computer aswell. They all work PERFECT on his. This leads me to believe that maybe there is something wrong with my DVD drive? Well I tried being as clear as possible and hope someone can help me with my problem! Thanks guys, Im stickin around these forums for awhile! ANY Suggestions would be helpful!

Me too, use the Enter key more often and the Shift key a lot less.

Hold it right there.. Where does it stutter in what kind of media playback devices and do all have the same stuttering at the same moments?

Aha, so the writing went good. It's your playback devices that malfunction.

I can think of only a couple of things:

- Your playback devices are having resource problems (cpu doing lots of other stuff, etc).
- Your playback devices are old and crappy and have now malfuncitoned. Check if originals playback correctly
- Your playback devices cannot read your media for some reason. This can be because of unfinished sessions, bad media, etc.
