hello everyone.

When I snapshot from a DVD played via Neo Showtime (1.5)
the snapshot images are distorted. The horizontal
aspect is squashed.
When I right-click and go to configure I can select
two options. Neither selection will alter this problem.
The DVD is "Once apon a Time in America".

A second problem is that I find the navigation around
the movie awkward. The top slider goes to each chapter
start, and the bottom slider seems to offer navigation
within this, but only by placing the mouse pointer to the
side and clicking. You cannoy use the right and left
arrows as these bring up stepping rate settings only.
This is very inaccurate.
There is a step forwards option which moves frame by
frame and is excellent, but why is the step backwards
grey out?

Would it serve me better to look for another movie player,
and is there a better one?

I found this in an advert for Nero 6.
I woder if my OEM version requires the extras below?

I suppose it would depend upon the method of encoding
a commercial film like the one I am viewing.
