MP3 Re-compression w/o installing software on PC

Hi. I have sometimes need to Re-compress large MP3. programs using LAME probably the best, but i cannot install any programs on my work computer as i don't have admin rights. is there is something out there that will allow me to covert larger mp3 to smaller size without installation. EAC 0.95 works great converting CD to MP3, but i do not know anything that can handle MP3 to MP3.

Try with Portable Audacity

Download the .ZIP package, and unpack all files on any folder (even an USB pendrive is good).

If you have LAME installed you might be able to do it from the command line. Google 'LAME command line' and you'll get lots of info.
