Newbie Forum Discuss, Manually setting Chapter points... at International Chat: General Topics forum; Hi, I am trying to import .avi files and burn them onto a DVD. On each of the .avi files I would like to manually set the chapter marks. Does any one know of specific software that will enable me to do this? Thank you!

Manually setting Chapter points...

Hi, I am trying to import .avi files and burn them onto a DVD. On each of the .avi files I would like to manually set the chapter marks.

Does any one know of specific software that will enable me to do this?

I use either TmpGenc DVD Author or DVDLab for authoring my DVDs and both these will allow manual selection of chapter points.

Nearly all off the dvd editing softwares have the ability to set chapter markers.

For those who use DVDlab, are you able to import .avi files?

I tried and they wouldn't allow it.

Nope, you can export as avi but not import.
