Making more than one copy - Toast on a Mac

This is probably an idiotically simple question, but...

I'm using Toast Titanium on a Mac PowerBook running Panther; a gig of memory, a 40GB hard drive, half empty. There's just one DVD-R drive.

When I copy a CD, I can then pop in another blank and copy the same CD again - so, let's say, I've made a playlist to cycle to, I can send one copy to a friend living way out in the country, and another to a friend's lonely student nephew.

But when I copy a DVD, the same option isn't available. I'm still using Copy on Toast, but I have to start again from the beginning and put the original CD in to get the information to copy.

I know I could copy the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders to the hard drive, but is there any faster way of doing this?

Try using the Disk Copy utility to create a .dmg image of the burned disc on your hard drive. And then use toast to burn that image to more discs.
