| lite-on 20x burner slow riping/w new HDD I'm new to this forum so please excuse me! a month ago I installed a new lite-on 20x burner and it was ripping DVD's supper fast and working great then I bought a 250gb Maxtor HDD from eBay for a second drive witch works great except when I try to rip movies to my new drive it takes like an hour . If I try to rip them to my old primary drive takes like 10 mins I'm completely clueless can any one please help me. thanks allot |

| Re: lite-on 20x burner slow riping/w new HDD Hi, please check the DMA settings of all your drives: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=101616 Also, get Maxtor's HDD diagnostic tool (from maxtor.com) to rule out a faulty HDD. Michael btw: posting the same in several forums is not in accordance to the forum rules.
