Re: I want to...

Unfortunately not. If the Hollywood studios can't copy-protect their stuff, it's unlikely that we can with the available tools.

You can make it difficult, but not impossible; and even that depends on how computer-literate the recipient of your DVD-Video is.

I have heard that you could overburn the disk. i.e. put more info on it than it normaly holds. That way it wouldnt work with a disk copy program.

Re: I want to...

hmmm...about that overburning. How do I do that? I have "recordnow!", and it automatically just burns what I place in the drive and then spits it out when it is done.

Re: I want to...

Thank you. I went to the Niro site and I am afraid to download. Should I just get over it? Is that the program I need to overextend my DVD?

trying to secure a DVD

Does Plextor allow you to copy a DVD and then somehow put a block on it so others can't copy it?

Hi,

It seems Nero was listening to you - just announced. Will it fill your interest? No clue about price.

Ooops, maybe the 404 indicates that it is a joke.
