| How to take clips from DVD's: Please help I am a newbie with a lot of equipment and very little knowledge. Have a Dell 2GHz system running XP. The system has a DVD reader, A CD writer, and an external Sony DVD/CD writer. I also have two Philips DVD recorders attached to two different televisions in my house. One I use to record movies; the other I use to record 8mm family tapes to DVD. I have only used DVD+R's with the Philips recorders. What I want to do is to take either the movie DVD's that I have recorded, or the family DVD's and: - Put them into the PC DVD reader; - Be able to capture specific scenes or clips from a particular DVD - Save the clip to disk - be able to edit it - Combine that clip with others from other DVD's - Burn a brand new DVD that contains all of the clips Can this be done? If so, what is needed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
