How do I copy then burn CD cover onto backup CD?

Hello from St. Louis, the home of the St. Louis Cardinals.

I'm retired but have worked with PCs since the dark ages (starting in 1979).

But, I need your help to solve a problem. Here's what I want to do:

1. I want to place my original music CD into my lightScribe capable CD/DVD drive (it's an HP 840d);

2. I want to have the drive read the graphic cover design on the original CD; and

3. I want to burn the cover desing from the original CD onto my back-up lightScribe CD-R.

I thought I used to be able to do this: i.e. burn and copy the music side of the CDs and then flip them over and then copy the cover desing from one to the other.

How can I do so again?

Thanks.

BTW, I've got Easy Media Creator 10 suite installed on a fairly robust Vista PC.

Thanks.

Your CD/DVD burner is not a scanner. You cannot do what you want.
Only way would be to place your CD in a scanner and scan the picture, than import that to Light scribe supporting software and burn.
