Re: Help! DVD Decrypter Problem

Xquizit, does this burn fail at the exact same address (255328-255343) each time? Have you tried different media and slower burn speed? How many bytes big is the ISO image you are burning?

Re: Help! DVD Decrypter Problem

RichMan, I have exactly the same error as Xquizit.
This is really bad.
really sad to.
Before I had an DVR106 burned my cd's and DVD's without any problem for like a half year then suddenly I couldn't burn DVD's anymore.
The whole system freezed up while burning a DVD. However burning CD's was no problem. So after making like 40 DVD'rs bad I've decided to get a new DVD burner cause I tought it broke. So I bought the DVR 107D. I've even used a new cable (80) for the installation of the 107. And I was so angry cause again it went wrong!:-( So I tought ok, maybe something wrong with Windows XP, So I went to the store and bought Windows XP pro and completley formatted my C drive and installed a complete new version of Windows XP. Still same problem, burning and sometimes at 11% sometimes at 70% it just freezed up. Then I tought ok, let me format the C drive again and change the IDE channels from the HD and the DVR107. Crap still problems:/
Then I even updated the firmware, guess what, still same shit!
It just freezes with burning DVDr. then I tried different type Media, TDK, Imation etc. Still same idiotic problem.
Tried different software, Nero, DVDdecrypter etc, error all the way.
This is really really incerdible dumb. And the thing is I've tried to edit the registry didn't worked, checked if it falls back to Pio mode or so, nope still on DMA if available, Ultra DMA mode 2.
With DVDdecrypter I get this error. " I/0 Error Interpretation: Invalid Address For Write."
So I tought let me grab the event log from the system. it says this

The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block.

Then I tought Ok maybe My HD is screwed up or so, so I installed my old DVDr106 to my second PC again failed to burn, then took the DVR107 out my Shuttle XPC and placed also in my second PC and again errors.
I'm really desperate now. Payd so much money, different software, different OS, different Hardware, different DVD'rs and still bad burns. And the most rediculous thing is, CD's burning no problem at all!
Now WTF is going on? can anybody help us and solve this problem please?
