H4WW bwa and blindwrite update

ok ive posted like 3 things and no one has responded. ive tried using the search engine but it hasnt really worked out for either of my questions. First, ive been making some bwa for games with blindwrite suite and for the most part they have been wokring. For the regular heroes of might and magic 4 i couldnt make a bwa but it worked anyways (the copy). for the winds of war expansion i cant make a bwa (at like 77% it says to many consecutive bad points or somtin) and the copy wont work. I need help

second, i've heard i can update my blindwrite suite to blindwrite 5. Personally i think u should be able to instead of wasting money all ova again. i've tried doing the other things but i need more direct instructions to do it. Someone please help me!!!

About your first point. To make a good BWA file is tricky. Sometimes your CDRW is the best drive to use sometimes it's your CDRom. This obviously depends on what your drives are. Also the speed makes a big difference. Sometimes Max is the best choice sometimes 4 speed is best. This once again come down to your drives. unfortunatly the best thing to do is just to experiment with your different drives until you get a good file.

I am not sure I understand your second point. If it was about upgrading your version then read on.

Yes you can update to Version 5. It might cost you some money to do this though. I don't personnally know there upgrade policy. Normally it is free updates for an individual major version. E.G You buy version 4 and get free updates untill version 5 comes out. Then you have to buy that version. Normally cheap though if you have a previous version. You will have to check this out though.

From the VSO-Software site
Quote:

Policy

Every license allows unlocking of the current product version available for download. It also includes a 1-year update protection. It means that during one year you can update for free to a minor or major version. After this year, you can choose to keep the last working version or to subscribe to an upgrade.
So if you have purchased within the last 12 months you would be able to update to version 5 free.
BlindWrite5 uses a different key format, if you are entitled to a free upgrade you will need to email VSO support with your BlindWrite4 license information and they will resend your BlindWrite5 key (if you are entitled to a free upgrade)
