fifa 2004 backup and more..

Hi,
I am new to this and have a lot of questions, but i will ask only two or three.
i own the fifa 2004 game and want to make a copy of it. i have alcohol 120% and i used it to succesfully make an image. the image plays fine in the emulation. when i record the image, the disc won't play.
i have a sony crx175a1 (i am not sure of the order of the first three letters) and i used this sony burner to make a copy of fifa 2003 succesfully. what steps should i follow?
i seached the forum but did not see a realted thread.
my second question is, i read in this forum of sheep burners. what does this means or where can i read about them?
thank you in advance for your help,
- wizoechelle

According to the Copy Protection List it has a SafeDisc copyprotection schematic.

The cdplayers that can read safedisc 2.9+ backups correctly are listed here

succesful fifa 2004 backup

thank you for the reply.
I downloaded the latest version of cloneCD
(as of 01/07/04) V4.3.1.9
and the backup played fine! it only took about 5 minutes to burn. i used to believe that alcohol 120% was the best but i guess each program has its advantages. i wonder if the disc will still work if i don't hide the cd-r media. i will post after i test the disc completely with my sony drive and the dell dvd drive (crappy).
thank you again for your reply!

update

okay so i tried to play my fifa backup without hiding the CDR on cloneCD. did not succeded. i guess i will have to buy cloneCD too since the trial is only 21 days. oh well
by the way with the hide CDR function enabled, both my sony cdrw and my dell dvd play the fifa 2004 okay.
thank you,

I'd have used Blindwrite 5, it seems to 'leak' all over the competition when it comes to backing up copy protected discs, I've never known it fail.

I use:
Lite-ON 16x DVD-ROM \ Lite-ON LTR - 40125W OR
Lite-ON 16x DVD-ROM \ Lite-ON LTR - 52327S
