| Re: dvd playback software I don't believe that skipping has anything to do with the playback software. However, most believe that Powerdvd or Windvd are best playback for pc. If your recorded dvd is skipping, it is most likely a media problem, and I would bet that you are using very cheap media. What brand is the media? If you have NERO, run CDSPEED disk quality test and see what the actual media code and quality are.

in case of Software DVD Players, there are really big differences between the different softwares, and some are better - technically and subjective - some are worse. and PowerDVD is in general one of those being technically better than many others and also very good usable. | |
