divx burning and divx players

hi there im new so here goes. ive bought a divx player, its actually a toshiba sd - 185e. i have two movies on my hard disk in the divx and xvid format. could i burn the divx movie direct to a disc and view on my new player and if so what would be the best app/ program to use?? thanks

You just need to burn as data, so virtually any burning program will do.
Nero and Roxio are two popular commercial products.

I personally use ImgBurn, which is a free program. Use the Build Mode and set the output to your cd/dvd burner. Here are the guides to using ImgBurn.

yeah i agree with Kerry56.

i use standard cd-r's for files at or under 700 mb. and i also recommend ImgBurn

DeepBurner is another free program with a setup similar to Nero if you are familiar with it.
