Newbie Forum Discuss, deleted files recovery at International Chat: General Topics forum; hello,does anyone know the best way to restore deleted text files and photos from my documents. it would be great if one could search by titl of deleted file or recognize from deleted file searches using commercial file restorer programs

The problem with any recovery is time.
If you deleted something by accident and want to get it back, chances are good.
It it was done hours or days ago, than 50-50 or no chance.
If the file was too large(usualy video) - no chance.
It get smaller if HD is almost full.

There are quite a few good recovery programs out there. One we use at my business, is BadCopyPro. At home I've used GetDataBack, and it works well too. But there is no sure thing......
