Newbie Forum Discuss, Darker than the original?? Need help please. at International Chat: General Topics forum; The encoding works fine and the output is great, except that it's noticably darker than the original. Changing the bit rate doesn't seem to make any difference to this. The sample avi file off of newsgroup is always nice and bright. I am using K-Lite Standard Codec.

I am using K-Lite Standard Codec. I download mostly xvid & divx formats and convert to vcd using WinAVI Converter 7.7
I need to find a good version of Nero.

Is there anything I can do to make the output a bit brighter?

It's not immediately obvious what question you are asking here. Please be more specific.
