| Creating a DVD w/ data files also I know this is probably a very easy question to answer, but i cant seem to search for the right keywords to figure it out on the web.. so please bare with me... Im trying to put together a DVD VIDEO disc, but i also want to use the extra space on the disc to store other files on there that would be accessible on a pc.. my friend did this awhile back but never showed me how.. what kind of disc is this called and how do i go about making one roughly.. i normally use Nero or DVDClone2 for burning my discs... thanks for the help..

| Re: Creating a DVD w/ data files also If you have already used DvdDecrypter to create an image of a dvd on your hard drive then this is what I would do. Open the folder marked Audio_TS (NOT VIDEO_TS). Having already put the data you want on the disk in a new folder, copy the folder into the audio_TS folder. Now Use Nero to transfer the Audio and Video_TS folders using the "create a dvd disk" option. This should work, but no doubt someone more technical might have better idea so wait a little while before performing this operation incase someone comes along with an easier method.

| Re: Creating a DVD w/ data files also It's no problem creating a New Folder in your VIDEO_TS folder and add files to fill up the DVD. Been testing this when overburning with my BenQ DW1640 and it's fun to autor a DVD movie and for example add MP3 musik, JPEG pictures and DivX. Most modern standalone players are able to read these files. Pure data filetypes can also be added but then they might only be read back in your compu. ![]() |
