A couple of questions

Hi.

I have three questions:

- can jpeg pictures be shown on a standalone dvd player, or do I need a program to create a file(?)(like a special svcd or vcd file?) in order to see it. And if so, what software do I need, and where can I get it?

- in AVI2SVCD (DVD2SVCD), there is an option (Chapters). Is that for making selectable partitions of the movie? Or does that have another function?

- If I want to put two SVCD movies on one dvd, how do I make that happen, or is it at all possible?

Re: A couple of questions

1) Nero and roxio have tools to compile picture discs. Not sure the leave the format as .jpg, but can use them to make you compilation disk......cutsy features and all.

2) No idea, not going to bullshit ya.

3) To watch them on you pc.....make a data DVD, for set top playback, you need to convert each movie back to dvd format then creat a custom dvd ifthere is room on the disk, if you search tutorials, chickenman has some great ones, others can be found at doom9.org....

Hope this helps....

Re: A couple of questions

Lots of standalone dvd players support jpeg so best to check first by either posting your model of player or looking on the front of the player or on the box that it came in.....
