Newbie Forum Discuss, copy not protected DVD at International Chat: General Topics forum; I have read a lot about how to copy a movie to one or two DVDs and I manage to do it. Now i tried to copy a not protected DVD written by my videocamera. It was easy with the movie method (ripping etc). I tried Nero on the fly

copy not protected DVD

I have read a lot about how to copy a movie to one or two DVDs and I manage to do it. Now i tried to copy a not protected DVD written by my videocamera. It was easy with the movie method (ripping etc). I tried Nero on the fly but I took the message there is not enough space (the two DVDs are same ). Please Help

what version of nero are you using? If it's the latest of either 5.5.x or 6.x there is a bug that doesn't allow overburning at all, you will get the message that the disc isn't big enough.

yep that is the problem with the nero version 5.5.10.50 and nero 6


i am glad i stuck with version 5.5.10.28 no worries on my end ..or i use 5.5.10.42 ...

motherboard - ga-7n400 pro 2 nforce2 chipset, 1.67 amd processor, 512 ddr ram, nvidia geforce 4 mx 440 video card (using modified drivers 44.65), tdk IndiDVD 440n dvd burner (dvd burner firmware -1.05), memorex 52x24x52 2452J (cd burner, with firmware: 6WS6), plextor premium cd burner (firmare: 1.05), tdk 5200b cd burner (firmware: lastest)

dvd decryptor is the best for backing up protected and non protected dvd's.

it makes iso files and you can also burn them with them
I also detecs mastering errors on the disk...can fast skip errors and so on

and it is free
