Hi,

always use some kind of cd spray to clean rented cd/dvd's.
Be carefull if you cleana cd/dvd always wipe from the inside to the outside (or outside to inside) and not circular.

It works for me

Look into the ingredients of the CD cleaner and you will find that it is made of two things:

1) Water
2) Isopropyl Alcohol

You can use Rubbing Alcohol and it will work just as fine as commercial CD-cleaners since the CD-Cleaner solution is just alcohol itself.
