Does your Alpine CD player play other burned CD-Rs? How old is your Alpine system? Some older car CD players are very finicky.

Just additional questions :

Have you tried listening to your CDRs on other car systems ?

In case if they sound all right there, i guess you know what to do, don't you ?

Beware of the difference between a CDR and a CDRW.

some players will read CDR but not CDRW.
Burnt Speed is an important factor....but the most likely cause here is the media as alpine use a very high quality reader. (unless the reader is damaged or old [over 3 years])

Check the CDR Media forum for the best media for your burner
