| Can't get programs to recognize ext. drive Hey All..... Is it possible (and if so how) to get programs ie. KProbe, Nero, to recognize an external DVD drive. I just put my Litey 1633 DVD drive in an external encloser but I'm not getting anything to recognize it. At least programs. I can play movies on it but I'd like the be able to test with it primarily with KProbe. Is this possible or am I going to have to install it in my tower and take my DVD rom out and put that into the external enclosure? Any ideas or thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Much. Mark

| Re: Can't get programs to recognize ext. drive Hey All.... OK, I got Nero to recognize the drive but KProbe still isn't. Anyone have an idea as to how I can correct that? This piece of sh_t HP I have runs the drives on Cable Select. As soon as I put my Litey on CS, Nero now see's it. But my main purpose in doin this is to be able to run KProbe tests off of this puter... Thanks Mark

| Re: Can't get programs to recognize ext. drive Hey All Again.... Well I now got KProbe to recognize the external drive by switching drivers from ASPI to SPTI.
