I cant get a movie off my hard drive. im useing Roxio to try and do this, and burn it to a dvd but can get it to work, can anyone give me a step by step on how I do this?

What format are you files in? VIDEO_TS folder?

if not as LOCOENG explained please try convertxtodvd very easy to use and there is a trial period. though the trial adds a watermark you will still be able to use it for test and see for yourself how easy it is. also here is a quick guide.

Good advice troy...I didn't think about still being in the conversion stage. If you need to convert from an avi or another format to a DVD compliant file, but don't want the watermark or payware try DVD Flick and then Imgburn.

It's pretty good for a free app, but is a little slower than ConvertXtoDVD.
