| Re: Buying advice on Plextor PX-740A/SW-BL Just looked on the Plextor web site here and they are showing it for $99.00 with a $20.00 rebate. Keep in mind that the Plextor 740 is a rebadged BenQ 1640 and you will have to look a little harder to find the 1640 but it will cost you less and you will have the same drive with many more features supported by BenQ. Plextors version is basically a no frills drive with no quality scanning ability so it may be worth it for you to check out the BenQ.
